Chandigarh

Chandigarh is the second smallest union territory of India by land and the fourth populous union territory of India by population. It shares borders with Haryana to the east and Punjab to the north, the west, and the south. Chandigarh serves as the joint capital of both Punjab and Haryana state. Chandigarh city has one of the highest per capita incomes in the country.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands is one of the eight Union Territories of India. It consists of 572 islands. Of these, 38 are permanently inhabited. It is the third largest union territory of India by land and the sixth most populous union territory of India by population.

West Bengal is situated in India's eastern region. It is the thirteenth Indian state by land and the fourth most populous Indian state in India. It shares borders with Odisha to the south, Bihar to the northwest, Jharkhand to the west, Sikkim to the north, Assam to the east. The Bay of Bengal washes its southern frontier. It also shares international borders with Nepal to the northwest, Bhutan to the north, and Bangladesh to the east.

 Uttarakhand is situated in India's northern region. It is the eighteenth largest Indian state by land and the nineteenth populous state in India. It shares borders with Uttar Pradesh to the south, Himachal Pradesh to the northwest, Haryana to the west. It also shares international borders with Nepal to the east and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north. 

 Uttar Pradesh is situated in India's northern region. It is the fourth Indian state by land and the most populous Indian state in India. It shares borders with Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh to the north, Bihar to the east, Madhya Pradesh to the south, Rajasthan to the west, Haryana to the northwest, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand to the southeast, and the Union Territory Delhi to the northwest. It also shares an international border with Nepal to the north.

Tripura

 Tripura is situated in India's northeastern region. It is the third smallest Indian state by land and the twenty-one most populous state in India. It shares borders with Assam to the northeast, and Mizoram to the east. It is encircled almost on three sides by Bangladesh to the west, north, and south.

Telangana

Telangana is situated in India's southern region.It is the eleventh largest Indian state by land and the twelfth most populous state in India. It shares borders with Maharashtra to the north, Chhattisgarh and Odisha to the northeast, Karnataka to the west, Andhra Pradesh to the east and south. 

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu is situated in India's southern region.It is the tenth largest Indian state by land and the sixth most populous state in India. It shares borders with Kerala to the west, Karnataka to the northwest, Andhra Pradesh to the north, Bay of Bengal to the east, Indian Ocean to the south and encircles the union territory of Puducherry. It also shares a maritime border with Sri Lanka to the east.

Sikkim

Sikkim is situated in India's northeastern region. It is the second smallest Indian state by land and the least populous state in India. It shares borders with West Bengal to the south. It also shares international borders with Nepal to the west, Bhutan to the east, and Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north. 

Rajasthan

Rajasthan is situated in India's northwestern region. It is the largest Indian state by land and the seventh most populous state in India. It shares borders with Punjab to the north, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Madhya Pradesh to the southeast, Gujarat to the southwest. It also shares an international border with Pakistan to the west.

Punjab

Punjab is situated in India's northern region. It is the nineteen largest State by land and the sixteenth most populous states in India. It shares borders with Himachal Pradesh to the northeast, Haryana and Rajasthan to the south, union territory of Chandigarh to the east and the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to the north. It also shares an international border with Pakistan to the west.

Odisha

Odisha is situated in India's eastern region. It is the eight largest State by land and the eleventh most populous state in India. It shares borders with West Bengal and Jharkhand to the north, Chhattisgarh to the west, Andhra Pradesh to the south, and a narrow touch border with Telangana to the southwest. Odisha has a coastline of 485 km along the Bay of Bengal to the east.

Nagaland is situated in India's northeastern region.It is the twenty-five largest State by land and the twenty-four most populous states in India. It shares borders with Assam to the west, Manipur to the south and Arunachal Pradesh to the north. It also shares an international border with Myanmar to the east. 

Mizoram

Mizoram is situated in India's northeastern region.It is the twenty-four largest State by land and the twenty-seven most populous state in India. It shares borders with Assam and Manipur to the north and Tripura to the west. It also shares international borders with Bangladesh to the west and Myanmar to the east. 

Meghalaya

Meghalaya is situated in India's northeastern region. It is the twenty-two largest State by land and the twenty-two most populous state in India. It shares borders with Assam to the north and east. It also shares an international border with Bangladesh to the south. It is one of the Seven Sister States of the northeast. Shilling, the capital of the state, has been called 'Scotland of the East' because of its elevation. Meghalaya has three wildlife Sanctuaries and two National Parks. Cherrapunji is a famous tourist destination of the state.

Manipur

Manipur is situated in India's northeastern region.It is the twenty-three largest State by land and the twenty-three most populous state in India. It shares borders with Assam to the west, Nagaland to the north, and Mizoram to the south. It also shares an international border with Myanmar to the east. 

Maharashtra is situated in India's western region. It is the third largest state by land and the second most populous state in India. It shares borders with Madhya Pradesh to the north, Chhattisgarh to the east, Telangana to the southeast, Gujarat to the northwest, Karnataka and Goa to the south, Arabian Sea to the west and the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu to the northwest.

Madhya Pradesh is situated in India's central region. It is the second largest state by land and the fifth most populous state in India. Madhya Pradesh shares borders with Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Chhattisgarh to the east and southeast, Maharashtra to the south, Gujarat to the west and Rajasthan to the northwest. Bhopal is the capital of the state.

Kerala

Kerala is situated in India's southern region. It is the twenty-one largest State by land and the thirteen most populous state in India. Kerala shares borders with Karnataka to the north and northeast, Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and Lakshadweep Sea to the west. Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of state.

Karnataka

Karnataka is situated in India's southwestern region. It is the sixth largest state by land and the eight most populous state in India. Karnataka shares borders with Goa to the northwest, Maharashtra to the north, Telangana to the northeast, Andhra Pradesh to the east, Tamil Nadu to the southeast, Kerala to the south and Arabian Sea to the west.
